Descriptions

In a sentence, or a paragraph

Short

One Must Fall 2097 Remastered is a free, faithful rebuild of the 1994 robot fighting classic, playing the original game files in HD for Windows, macOS, Linux and the browser.

Long

In One Must Fall 2097 (Diversions Entertainment, 1994), pilots climb into ninety-foot war machines and fight their way up a corporate tournament. Freeware since 1999, it was one of the great DOS fighting games. One Must Fall 2097 Remastered rebuilds its engine in TypeScript and WebGL2 and plays the original game files, exactly as they looked in 1994 or remastered in HD, one key apart: 3,200+ redrawn images, widescreen arenas with depth, lighting and particles. It adds LAN multiplayer, fourteen languages, a training lab with frame data, replays and clips, arcade, survival and time attack modes, a robot workshop, four new robots and four new arenas, and OMF Studio, a mod tool that makes robots, arenas and pilots in the game's own formats. It is free, and always will be.
