Who fought for it
The remaster's credits are fought out in the game itself. Here they are standing still.

OpenAI GPT6-ASTRA

The credits' song
Twenty Ninety-Seven (Remix)
By Hadal Static, a song about One Must Fall 2097, used with the artist's permission. It isn't covered by the MIT license.
The original game
One Must Fall 2097 © 1994 Diversions Entertainment, published by Epic MegaGames. Freeware since February 1999: its owners invite players to modify and distribute it as they please, as long as they don't charge for it (confirmed by Epic Games in 2017).
The music
The 1994 soundtrack is Kenny Chou's. With the sound on, this website plays his main menu theme, One Must Fall! 3, from the game's own file, and the game's own sound effects.
OpenOMF
OpenOMF (MIT), the open-source reimplementation whose reverse engineering this port follows.
The announcers
Victor and Kristen, from the ElevenLabs voice library, performed with Eleven v4 and finished with FFmpeg. They also read the news.
Also built with
Hyllian's xBR-lv2 shader (MIT), the Orbitron typeface by Matt McInerney (SIL OFL 1.1), Tauri, Vite, TypeScript and Vitest.
This website
Built with Astro and served by Cloudflare Pages, set in Orbitron, Inter and VT323 (all SIL OFL 1.1). Its pictures and sounds are the game's own.
License
Free of charge, never sold
The remaster's source code is released under the MIT license.
The original game's files, and the artwork made from them, are included on the game's freeware terms instead: free of charge, never sold. The new robots' and arenas' pictures are shared on the same terms.
Never charge for this game or for builds of it, in any form. The full notice is in NOTICE.md.
